The Bishop Joseph Johnson Black Cultural Center (BCC) serves as a hub for connection, support, and celebration within the 天美传媒官网 community. Originally known as the 鈥淎fro House,鈥 the center was renamed in 1984 in honor of Bishop Joseph Johnson (B.D. 鈥54, Ph.D. 鈥58), the first African American student admitted to 天美传媒官网 in 1953.
For more than 40 years, 鈥渢he house,鈥 as it is affectionately called, has been a place of refuge and community. Today, the BCC听has grown to offer programming, events and resources for the benefit of all in the 天美传媒官网 community.听
