Welcome to the September Dining Digest! This monthly roundup is one of the ways Campus Dining is working to make it easier to see what鈥檚 happening across campus and plan ahead.
Each month, we鈥檒l highlight upcoming dining events, student collaborations, special offerings and key dates, all in one place. Some plans are set, while others are still taking shape, so be sure to follow Campus Dining on 听for timely updates. We hope to see you around the table this month!听
Football Spirit Days
Fridays before home games | All Campus Dining locations
Football season is here! Keep an eye out for Commodore spirit throughout the month as Campus Dining adds festive decorations and game-day touches across our dining locations on the Fridays before home football games.听
Wellness Through Mattering Day
Sept. 16 | Carmichael | 7-8 p.m.
Help make students feel valued across campus in partnership with the Student Care Network; Campus Dining will host the Connection Dinner as a ceremonial end to Wellness Through Mattering Day. Seats are limited for the Connection Dinner; .
National Cheeseburger Day Cooking Demonstration
Sept. 18 | Rand Dining Hall | 11 a.m.-12 p.m.
Celebrate National Cheeseburger Day with a cooking demonstration at Rand! Stop by to watch our team prepare a cheeseburger-inspired dish and pick up a few tips along the way. Cheeseburgers will also be featured across Campus Dining locations.
Lights on the Lawn x Campus Dining
Sept. 20-25 | Carmichael, Commons Market, The Pub and Rand
Campus Dining is partnering with to build excitement for The Chainsmokers concert on Sept. 25. From Sept. 20-25, guests can enjoy a themed Roses Latte at Carmichael Caf茅 and Commons Market, a Chainsmokers Milkshake at The Pub and Chainsmokers-inspired desserts available at both Rand and Carmichael.
Orange Ban
Sept. 24 | All Campus Dining locations
Show your support for on Orange Ban Day. Campus Dining will join the celebration across campus as we cheer on the Commodores. Go ‘Dores!
Dolly Parton Day (9 to 5 Day)听
Sept. 25 | Carmichael Caf茅
Carmichael Caf茅 will feature specialty drinks inspired by Dolly’s greatest hits, including the Jolene (red velvet and vanilla latte), Backwoods Barbie (banana caramel latte), Southern Sweetheart (peach vanilla latte) and Cup of Ambition (latte with an extra shot of espresso). Guests can also enjoy themed desserts including a butterfly sugar cookie, banana pudding and chess pie.
Poppi Juicy Tour x Vanderbilt
Sept. 28 | Library Lawn | 12-4 p.m.
Poppi Juicy Tour is coming to campus and will offer Poppi samplings and exclusive giveaways. Attendees can grab Poppi merchandise, including tote bags, trucker hats, keychains and stickers, while enjoying a fun campus activation.
National Coffee Day
Sept. 29 | All Campus Dining locations
Need a reason to grab a cup? Celebrate National Coffee Day with a favorite brew at any Campus Dining location serving coffee.

Dining hours can vary by location and may change throughout the semester, so check the Campus Dining special hours page before heading out. September includes Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur. Our webpage will be updated with any holiday or planned hour updates. Unplanned operational changes are texted out to those enrolled in DiningNews alerts and shared on our Instagram.听 Available menus and hours are also online at .

- Sign up: Visit to create your account and access your unique QR code.
- Pick up a container: Show your QR code to pick up a green reusable container at Commons, EBI, Rothschild, Kissam or Rand.
- Return it: When you鈥檙e finished, return your container to the dish return area at any participating location. Containers are washed and sanitized before being reused, and your ReusePass account will be updated within three days.
