The Data Science: Next Generation Committee has been formed to evaluate current computing expertise and resources at ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½¹ÙÍø. The committee will assess future needs to strengthen the foundations of computing across campus, establish cross-disciplinary connections, and emphasize social and ethical aspects of computing.

The ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½¹ÙÍø Data Science Institute welcomed its first cohort of undergraduate summer research fellows in early June. The Data Science Institute Summer Research Program aims to engage students who are interested in data science-related research with Vanderbilt faculty.
