Postdoctoral position in non-equilibrium quantum materials
| Department |
Physics and Astronomy; Electrical and Computer Engineering |
| Full Description |
We are seeking a motivated postdoc to join a new optoelectronics group at ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½¹ÙÍø. We employ tailored electromagnetic drives (including GHz-THz cavities and multi-chromatic femtosecond pulses) to create, control, and probe collective phases in quantum materials.
Based in Nashville, our group has access to excellent nanofabrication facilities and experimental support. This intellectual environment offers collaborative opportunities across both the Physics and Electrical Engineering departments and with Oak Ridge National Laboratory.
Candidates with expertise in the areas of van der Waals quantum materials, device fabrication, DC/HF transport, ultrafast spectroscopy, or cavity physics should apply! This position will remain open until filled, with flexible start date in 2025-2026. We are excited to build this team, and enthusiastically welcome new members to help us shape the future of this new group. |
