The Student Organization Marketplace is Vanderbilt’s online payment platform for registered student organizations.

Formerly hosted on GET,ÌýtheÌýTransact Student OrgÌýMarketplaceÌýprovides a secure and centralized way for organizations to collect payments from students and community members. Organizations can use theÌýTransact Student OrgÌýMarketplace to collect membership dues, organization fees, conference and travel fees, event registration fees, merchandise sales, fundraiser payments, competition fees, and other approved organization-related expenses. To create a listing, organizations must submit aÌýÌýthrough Anchor Link.Ìý

Payments can be made using Commodore Cash, credit card, or Experience ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½¹ÙÍø funds (when applicable). Organizations that collect money from members, participants, or individuals outside the ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½¹ÙÍø community are strongly encouraged toÌýutilizeÌýthe Marketplace for their transactions.ÌýOrganizations with members receiving Experience ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½¹ÙÍø fundingÌýare required toÌýhave their eligible fees posted through the Marketplace.Ìý

  • What is the Student Organization Marketplace?

    The Student Organization Marketplace is Vanderbilt's online payment platform that allows registered student organizations to collect dues, fees, and payments through Transact.ÌýIt is available on theÌý,Ìý, orÌý.

  • Who can purchase items from the Marketplace?

    Marketplace listings can be made available to Vanderbilt community members andÌýindividuals outside the university community.

  • Is there a fee for credit card payments?

    Yes. Credit card transactions include aÌý3.5% processing fee that is deducted from the amount received by the organization.ÌýStudent Organizations are encouraged to take this into account when listing their fees.

  • Can Experience ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½¹ÙÍø funds be used?

    Yes. Eligible students may use Experience ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½¹ÙÍø funds through the Marketplace when applicable.

  • How many listings can my organization have?

    There is no limit on the number of listings. However, a separate Anchor Link request form must be submitted for each listing.

  • How long does it take for a listing to be posted?

    Processing times vary depending on request volume and submission completeness. Organizations shouldÌýsubmitÌýrequests well before their desired launch date.ÌýOnce theÌýAnchorLinkÌýform is approved, the listing is available for purchase on theÌýTransact Student Org Marketplace.

  • Can I edit a listing after it has been submitted?

    If changes are needed after submission, contact sarratt@vanderbilt.edu as soon as possible.

  • Can I request transaction reports?

    Yes. Reports can be delivered automatically on a daily or weekly basis.ÌýPleaseÌýindicateÌýthe frequency and email addresses that should receive the reports in yourÌýAnchorLinkÌýsubmission.ÌýPlease note thatÌýTransact reporting is configured individually for each listing. Organizations with multiple listings require multiple reports.
