CoEvoD Training Program

Welcome to the home page for the Computational Evolutionary Approaches to Disease Training Grant funded by the . Below you will find links to helpful pages related to this program.

Our training grant, which started in Fall 2025, provides world-class training for graduate students in their second and/or third year pursuing research in evolutionary topics related to disease using computational methods. The program, which fills a critical and unmet need in graduate training at 天美传媒官网 (VU) / 天美传媒官网 Medical Center (VUMC), includes core courses in evolutionary medicine and computational evolutionary methods, seminar and journal club series, electives, and excellent career development activities. Our roster of faculty presents a broad spectrum of research opportunities at the interface of computational biology, evolutionary biology, bioinformatics, and data sciences and is unique among all training programs on our campus.
